Empowering Youth Through Education

Nancy Ramirez

Mentor Program Representative

Nancy serves on the Fulfillment Fund’s Alumni Ambassador board as a Mentor Program Representative. Her relationship with the Fulfillment Fund began when she was in Middle School and was asked to join the Mentoring Program where she was paired with a wonderful mentor who along with the Fulfillment Fund was instrumental in her High School and college success. The Fulfillment Fund provided her the opportunity to visit several college campuses which she credits for her attendance to Smith College where she pursued a double major in Biology and Spanish and subsequent Masters in Public Health from Benedictine University.

Currently she works at Herbalife International where she leads efforts in the development of the company’s safety surveillance system.  She aspires to expand the program the 90+ markets where company conducts its business. During her time off, she volunteers with the Fulfillment Fund and her local college alumni club with recruitment efforts, facilitating college interviews for students who are unable to visit campus and speaking to anxious parents to ease their apprehensions about allowing their female daughters (and often the first to go to college) to venture out so far away from home. Nancy enjoys traveling, dancing and is looking forward to engaging in more outdoor activities.
