The Songs of Our Lives

The Songs of Our Lives

The Songs of Our Lives benefit concert is the brain-child of award-winning songwriter Charles Fox who, along with his wife Joan Fox, is a Fulfillment Fund board member.

Fox’s vision was to combine entertainment and philanthropy in a meaningful way to support the Fulfillment Fund’s important work in the community.

For the past six years The Songs of Our Lives has thrilled audiences with performances – never to be duplicated – at this one-night-only, exclusive engagement.

The Songs of Our Lives, Volume VI took place on Monday, June 17 at The Eli and Edythe Broad Stage in Santa Monica. Special guest stars, Marilyn McCoo and Billy Davis, Jr., Debby Boone, Stephen Bishop, Monica Mancini and Jack Jones performed in a special tribute to award-winning lyricists, Alan and Marilyn Bergman. Composers Alan Bergman (“Papa, Can You Hear Me?”), Charles Fox (“Killing Me Softly”), Steve Karmen (“I Love New York”) and Allan Rich (“I Don’t Have the Heart to Hurt You”) performed their own songs. The show was directed by film and television director Joel Zwick and hosted by stand-up comedian and actor Sinbad with many celebrity guests in attendance.
