Become a Mentor
Our award-winning mentor program provides extensive training
and support, and the opportunity to transform a life - maybe your
own! Learn more about

Mentor for a Day
Attend a Fulfillment Fund event with a student who has not been
matched with a mentor.
Time Involved: Dependent upon the event; typically one weekday
evening or a Saturday for 4-6 hours.
Volunteer at a Special Event
Assist with registration, set-up, and/or clean-up. Events include
fundraising events, picnics, conferences and celebrations.
Time Involved: Dependent upon the event; typically on weekday
evenings or Saturdays.
Speak at a Career Conference
Share with students how you got started in your career and what
you enjoy about your job.
Time Involved: Dependent upon the event; typically on weekday
evenings or Saturdays.
Assist Students with Resume and Job Preparation
Assist with resume writing, and interviewing skills.
Time Involved: This is usually a one-time event and often
can be arranged according to volunteer's schedule.
Lead a Workshop
If you have a particular passion such as creative writing, photography,
or art, organize a workshop.
Time Involved: This is usually a one-time event and often
arranged according to volunteer's schedule.
Host Job Shadowing
Host students and allow them to explore your career.
Time Involved: This is usually a one-time event at your place
of employment.
Arrange for Internships at Your Workplace
Help current Fulfillment Fund scholars explore career options and
achieve greater self-confidence in the work place by offering paid
internships.
Time Involved: Students are usually placed in summer internships
involving 20-40 hours of work per week, but internships extending
beyond the summer months may also be considered.
