Microsoft Selects the Fulfillment Fund to Receive $250,000 Technology Grant
LOS ANGELES--As part of its commitment to investing in communities and education, Microsoft announced in June its selection of the Fulfillment Fund as one of three Los Angeles charities to receive a major software donation.

Microsoft representatives presented a $250,000 technology grant to the Fulfillment Fund following a month-long campaign in which hundreds of supporters cast votes for the Fulfillment Fund on the Microsoft Store Facebook page.

Fulfillment Fund CEO Andrea Cockrum accepted the award in front of more than 1,000 spectators at the June 30 opening of the Microsoft Store in Westfield Century City, thanking Microsoft for helping to support education programs that literally change the lives of students and their families.

"For 34 years, the Fulfillment Fund has provided first generation, low-income students in Los Angeles with the support necessary to graduate from high school and go on to college," Cockrum said. "This gift will expand our capacity to help students achieve their dreams."

The Fulfillment Fund thanks Microsoft for its generous gift of a $250,000 technology grant to help Los Angeles students achieve the dream of college!
