Robbie joined the Fulfillment Fund in 2010. In his previous role as Director of the Fulfillment Fund Mentor Program, Robbie worked with a dynamic team of five mentor program advisors, a department manager and a volunteer recruitment and engagement manager to recruit and train new volunteer mentors, match students with mentors, and support ongoing relationships between students, mentors and families. For more than two decades, the Fulfillment Fund has matched students with caring, committed adult mentors who help support students on their path to high school graduation and a successful transition to college. In the 2012-13 academic year alone, Fulfillment Fund mentors provided more than 13,000 hours of one-on-one guidance to Fulfillment Fund students.

Prior to joining the Fulfillment Fund, Robbie served as the Program Director for the Learning Community (TLC) at Loyola Marymount University with responsibility for the retention, recruitment and engagement efforts for first-year students of color. Robbie also worked as the Director of the LMU Orientation Program, and taught courses in the LMU Leadership Institute. Earlier in his career, Robbie worked as a mortgage banking executive at HSBC Finance Corp.

Robbie earned his bachelor’s degree in Finance and Management as well as his MBA at Loyola Marymount University.
