It was a night to remember as 25 renowned chefs, restaurants, wineries, breweries and beverage makers came together for the 3rd Annual Taste of Summer soiree offering guests fine food and entertainment in a contemporary coastal setting.
The Victorian in Santa Monica provided a picturesque backdrop for the third annual Taste of Summer, hosted by the Fulfillment Fund Leadership Council on Saturday, July 26.
Guests were treated to a handmade pasta demonstration by Honorary Co-Chair Chef Evan Funke, of Bucato and wood fire burgers from Honorary Co-Chair Chef Makani of Pono Burger. Wolfgang Puck Catering partnered with American Born Moonshine to bring a little Appalachia to LA, complete with a campfire, rocking chairs and ice cream made from Apple Pie Moonshine.
The musical talents of local DJ Mr. Benjamin Walker and live performances by Cliff Beach and Luis Narino of Noble Creatures created the perfect atmosphere as guests sampled local fares and mingled over 40 silent auction items. KABC anchor, Lori Corbin was the evening's Emcee, interviewing chefs and announcing the opportunity drawing winners.
