4th Annual Career Day

March 18, 2016 (8:30am-1pm)
NOW Academy, in collaboration with the Fulfillment Fund, will host their 4th Annual Career Day to expose students to a selection of professions. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to serve as Guest Speakers in the classroom to speak about their own careers and their unique path to get there. Don't like to speak to groups? No problem! We are also looking for volunteers to help keep the day running smoothly.

Scholarship Selection Committee

March-April 2016
Last year, the Fulfillment Fund distributed $356,750 in scholarships to students. We are looking for volunteers to help us read, review, and evaluate scholarship applications. After all scores have been analyzed independently by volunteers we will convene for group assessments. The total time commitment for this volunteer opportunity is usually around 8-10 hours.

Independent review of applications: March 13-26
Group Assessment: March 30 - April 6 (6-8pm)

Mentor a Student

For more than two decades, the Fulfillment Fund has matched students with caring, committed adult mentors who help support our students on their paths to high school graduation and a successful transition to college.  Mentors are thoughtfully paired with their student and receive support and guidance from Fulfillment Fund staff throughout the mentoring relationship.  Visit our mentor page for more information.

Host a Fulfillment Fund Open House

We invite you to experience the unique essence of the Fulfillment Fund at an Open House tour. Through student stories, guests spend one hour discovering how the Fulfillment Fund Builds Relationships, Illuminates Opportunities and Changes Lives for more than 2,500 students growing up in educationally and economically under-resourced communities every year.

We welcome the opportunity to bring our Open House to your office, home, or other setting that allows you to host 10-15 people interested in learning more about the Fulfillment Fund.

To learn more or schedule a tour for your group, please email Sarah Oesterle or call 323.900.8742.

Organize a Donation Drive to Support Our Students

With student events and programs running year round, we are searching for in-kind donations of items needed to support these programs.  Examples include gifts for student raffles (restaurant gift cards, electronics, tickets to sporting events or shows), food & beverage (water, breakfast items, healthy snacks), and school supplies (pens, paper, books).  If you have something you're interested in donating, please see our Wish List for more information.

Come join our team of dedicated volunteers by filling out our application!
